The crew at Stein Tree are tree care specialists with decades of collective experience and knowledge. In addition, our company carries more insurance than most other tree removal companies because of the nature of some industries where we provide services. Therefore, you can have peace of mind that we are more than covered for residential work.
Tree stump removal or grinding is a separate service and our tree service company can provide a quote if the service is requested.
We do not use spikes or gaffs unless we are removing a tree to prevent damaging the tree’s bark and creating a wound where the tree may be more susceptible to disease. Instead we use aerial lifts and/or climbing techniques that do not impact the health of the tree, in order to ensure that you can enjoy your trees for years to come. In many instances, especially for larger limbs or where obstacles are near the tree we may use ropes to help us lower large limbs or swing them away from objects to avoid damage.
Our rates are based on the time, equipment and skillsets required to perform a specific job. Removing a dead tree in the middle of an open field with no obstacles around would cost less than removing the same dead tree in the middle of a residential back yard near power lines and growing over a home/deck/shed/fence. Stein Tree Service performs a site visit for every job so that when we provide a proposal you know what you are going to pay to get the job done. A change in price would only occur if the customer requests additional services while the crew is on site.
