Stein Tree Service’s ISA Board Certified Master Arborists are able to provide you with detailed analysis of your property’s trees offering a report on the overall health of your plants and identifying any issues with soil, pest, disease or structure.
An arborist will also be able to identify type, location, density and maintenance needs so you will be able to create a maintenance plan and budget for your property.
Our ISA Board Certified Master Arborists are also Certified Tree Risk Assessors and are experienced at identifying potential danger from damaged or aging trees and will provide you with a detailed Tree Risk Assessment that includes recommendations for risk remediation.
Our Services Include
Tree Inspections – During an inspection, our ISA Board Certified Master Arborists check the overall health of your trees, look for signs of pest and disease infestations, identify any structural problems, and determine soil requirements.
Based on the information found, we will make recommendations on any treatments required. Much like a “doctor’s checkup,” this type of visit is essential to maintaining healthy trees.
Tree Risk Assessment – All trees will eventually decline and die. As trees go through their life cycle physical defects may appear that reduce the tree’s structural integrity. Defects in trees or tree parts can be caused by natural events such as wind or ice storms or result from other effects such as construction damage, grade change and improper pruning.
Trees affected by structural compromise may become a risk to people and property. No tree is safe and any tree can fail at any time. Trees with recognized defects are ranked for potential to cause injury or damage and prioritized based on most dangerous to least.
Resistograph Testing – The resistograph is an instrument that detects decay and cavities in trees and timber. Through resistograph technology, an arborist is able to detect wood decay, stages of rot, hollow areas, cracks and ring structure. The resistograph is an ideal device for estimating tree stability and longevity.
Tree Inventory – Tree inventories provide basic information on the population of a property in order to make informed management decisions. Inventories can supply information on plant quantities, location, condition, and size and maintenance requirements. Based on this information, sustainable management plans and budgets can be developed for the property’s care.
